Does the Bible explain dinosaurs?
nooooooo
Nope. It mentions 'leviathans' and 'dragons' but it's not entirely clear in what it means.
Some would argue yes, since there are parts talking about dragons and giant lizards.
I personally don't think so, since there's never been any evidence found that humans and dinosaurs lived during the same periods of time, and Adam is the human who named every living creature, according to the Bible.
No.
Um yes as to where it is look it up your self it would actually be a beneficial read because if you want to discredit something it really wouldn't hurt to LEARN about what your trying to discredit.. but start with the word Leviathan and go from there God Bless =D
I do not believe so. There are references to dragons and leviathan in the Bible, but many ancient people mistook dragon bones and mammoth bones for evidence of giants and cyclops and dragons.
they are mentioned but not explained
The bible explains God
yes,.. they are called dragons not dinosaurs they are called behemoth and other names i can't recall now.

for a well explanation videos of dinosaurs and more in the Bible.
Nope. People found dinosaur bones back then, but they thought they came from a race of giants. In China it was thought that these were the bones of dragons. Nobody in the ancient world had a clue about how old these bones were.
no they had not been discovered
when the bible was written
No because it was written 2000 years ago when they hadn't been discovered yet.
there is a reason why it doesnt. you see the people who wrote the bible were HUMAN and had no knowledge of it. the creation story is obviously very smbolystic
What, did you miss that passage about Jesus riding into town on a dinosaur?!? There's pictures of that everywhere!
The Bible is a book about redemption, not everything and anything. It focuses on what is necessary to reveal God's plan of salvation and redemption.
To focus on dinosaurs would be a severe sidetrack. You can see what that sidetrack does today. More people are trying to poke holes in the Bible than look for salvation. The Bible says that they will find what they seek. If they look for holes, holes is what God will give them. If they seek for salvation, they will obtain that. One is good for now, the other is good for eternity. God seems to think one subject is more important than the other.
Sure does, they were called dragons at the time.

To Quote Lewis Black:
"These people are watching the Flintstones as if it were a documentary."
No, not the Catholic Bible.
The word "dinosaur" is not found anywhere in the Bible. This is because the word "Dinosaur" was not invented until the mid 1800's. The "King James Bible" was translated into English in 1611. - So we would not expect to find the word "dinosaur."
Read Job 40:15-24 - the behemoth was a dinosaur.
The amazing thing is there is no evidence to support the belief that dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. In fact, the physical evidence contradicts this very idea (contrary to what you may have been told, dinosaur bones are NOT carbon dated. They are "assigned" an age based on how old someone thinks they are, based upon the geologic column). Did you know that dinosaur bones that are carbon dated give dates of only a few thousand years old? - Not millions like evolutionists claim.
There was recently an Allosaurus bone (which is alleged to be 140 million years old) but it was carbon dated at only 16 thousand years old!
the bible doesn't explain anything that is scientific because they didn't know much back then and it is fake.
the bible explains nothing
Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. He ranks first among the works of God, yet his Maker can approach him with his sword. The hills bring him their produce, and all the wild animals play nearby. Under the lotus plants he lies, hidden among the reeds in the marsh. The lotuses conceal him in their shadow; the poplars by the stream surround him. When the river rages, he is not alarmed; he is secure, though the Jordan should surge against his mouth. Can anyone capture him by the eyes, or trap him and pierce his nose? Job 40:15-24
the bible is not intended to explain everything ,so we can decide alot things 4 our self!
To the best of my Bible knowledge not directly it does not. But some people believe through the Bible that there were two floods. That the dinosaurs were here before the first flood in Genesis then their remains were buried under years of fossils, dirt. erosion etc...
The word dinosaur was not invented until the 1800s so if you did find it in the Bible there would be a huge problem. There are creatures described in the Bible that could only be dinosaurs- In Job and Psalms, among others. They were created when everything else was created, during the 6 days of creation. They were also represented on the ark- they would have been very young and thus quite small. They became extinct after the Genesis Flood, probably because they could not adapt to the new, hostile environment and/or were hunted by man into extinction- like many other species. Evolutionists don't really have a satisfactory explanation for what happened to the dinosaurs. Note: I said satisfactory explanation.
No and it does not talk about cats either
The book of Job...40 and 41...describes a couple of them...behemoth and Leviathan. The Bible also mentions dragons, tanniyn, flying serpents, etc... and Exodus 20:11 states that God created ALL that is in Heaven and Earth in six days which would obviously include dinosaurs. Dragon was the ancient word for what we call dinosaurs.
There are also many evidences from around the world that man and dinosaurs co-existed until fairly recent times.

Yes and it even gives a description. Try reading Job and you'll find your answer.
Nice sites you listed unknown poster. Try looking at something a little believable.
Nup...got lots of incest and kiddie-sacrifice though
What exactly do you think the bible should EXPLAIN about dinosaurs or any other animal? They certainly are mentioned.. Although not by OUR name for them.. What explaining are you inquiring about?
Why would the bible focus on one critter? It isn`t about critters..
Theres something about giants... but not lizards. Well, its wrong anyway, right?
